Taurus, the feminine (yin) sheath of Venus, is attractive and magnetic. Taureans have personal magnetism and are able to draw others into their circle, rather than actively seeking them out. In other words, while they are very fond of members of the opposite sex, they prefer to be courted. Taurus is straight-forward and down-to-earth in sexual matters.
A no-nonsense approach is favoured and too much verbalising, or complex fantasising is not really Taurus’s thing. Music or other forms of sensual, non-verbal expression will strike a chord in the Taurean nature.
Faithful friends (and dedicated enemies), Taureans prefer long-lasting relationships and seek to build strong alliances, although they can be misled by their sensual natures, especially when young. Taurus however will grow more stable and discriminating as time goes on, for the Taurean character is naturally inclined to permanence and the satisfaction of a job well done.
Like the Bull, Taurus is slow to anger, then briefly furious before returning to a state of preferred placidity. A lot happens below the surface with Taurus.
Friends can be quite surprised by sudden changes of heart which have actually been bubbling down there for longer than anyone could have suspected!
1) How do you label yourself as a witch? (pagan, Wiccan, eclectic solitary witch, gardnerian Wiccan, asatru?)
2) Do you believe in or follow any gods, goddesses, entities? If so, which ones?
I am devoted to the Lody and Lady, hoever I also have worked with Artemis, Apollo, and Athene, who holds a special place in my heart.
3) Name three simple things that make you feel like a witch:
When I walk barefoot I feel my connection to the earth
Feeling the presence of the God & Goddess in the Sun & Moon.
When I perform a spell or charm and it works without anyone noticing, like doing a cleansing and warding spell and comment comes that the space feels cleaner and people can actually sleep.
4) Are there any aspects of witchcraft in which you excel or have a stronger pull towards (e.g. herbs, candle magic, healing, or animal magic)?
I wouldn’t consider myself an expert in any aspect of Wicca quite yet, but I love candles and candle magick!
5) What is your stance on curses?
Curses are a complex subject, I personally would not use one against an human unless it was ABSOLUTELY nessesary. It simpy goes against my main tenat, Let it harmnon, and do what ou willl. However, I would perform one in theory if I felt that there was no other way to defend myself, though with all the banishing, warding, and protection spells, i doubt that suc an occurance would eer happen. I do ot impose this belief on other, for it may be their way of dealing wit situations, all in all, i believe that it is a personal preference.
6) How many people (if any) know that you do witchcraft?
I know one person, a Heathen and have a Wiccan friend, however as I have been in the broom closet for most of my life, I don’t know man.
7) What age did you start practicing witchcraft?
I really became interested when I was 14, wit a friend of mine, she left and returned to Catholosism a year or so later, however i remained a Wiccanand have been pracising for four years this coming Samhain.
8) Are you pulled closer to the light or darkness of witchcraft?
9) Name your favorite animal, plant and color to work with in magic.
I haven’t yet fully worked with animals yet
10) Do you have any witchy friends where you live?
11) Is your spellwork done formally (all planned out with specific clothes and rituals done before starting) or done on the spur of the moment?
I’m a spur of the moment kind of girl, I can plan a general outline for a special occasion, but when I feel the need or the compulsion to cast, I do not question and simply do. In all honesty, my spontaneous circles often turn out rather more natural feeling than a planned one.
12) Have you made your own tools before? If so which ones?
I have a staff that is not yet finished, but most of my tools are a little eclectic, for example, my Athame is a large pocket knife my fater gave me a while back.
13) What are some talents that you have that don’t pertain to your spiritual self (e.g. singing, dance, artwork)?
I am quite well versed in all things pertaining to art, painting drawing, and such, are something of a writer, and adore to design tattoos, but the one talent that I am most proud of is my ability to learn and to absorb information at quite a unsubstantial rate and call on it long since after.
